METech is an established recycling company with decades of experience in the Reuse, Recycling and Recovery of precious resources from electronic waste. We provide IT Asset Disposal (ITAD), Precious Metal Recovery (PMR), Solar Panel Recycling (SPR), Product & Equipment Destruction (PED) and Battery Recycling (BR) services to our customers in Singapore, Malaysia and other parts of Asia.

METech’s waste management approach follows closely on the Waste Management Hierarchy developed by the US’ Environmental Protection Agency for Sustainable Materials Management in recognition that no single waste management approach is suitable for managing all materials and waste streams in all circumstances.
Our expertise and services are in great demand in view of national and global concern with climate change and environmental degradation and pollution. The growing consumerisation of IT technology has led to the production of more and more electronic devices and equipment each day, which by itself leads to accelerated mining and further destruction of our living habitat. Moreover, these electronic devices and equipment contain toxic substances which when not properly handled contaminate the environment and consequently bring harm to humans. “Responsible Recycling” is therefore key to addressing these problems.
METech Recycling is certified to R2v3 (Responsible Recycling) Standard by Sustainable Electronic Recycling International (SERI) of the United States. The standard demands that used and end-of-life electronic equipment are managed in an environmentally responsible manner, protective of the health and safety of workers and the public, and that all data on all media devices is secure until destroyed. It also specifically requires that international trade in used and end-of-life electronics be conducted legally and responsibly, complying with the laws and regulations of all importing, transit, and exporting countries.
